Minus9 is a band whose members play music to offset their disparate lives in the unforgiving and harsh world of Corporate America. We play music not for our own pleasure and satisfaction as musicians, but to find some semblance of freedom in the hopeless notes echoed through the amplifiers. The music is loud to increase the distance between the fantasy of being a true rock star and the harsh reality of being nothing more than just another disgruntled office professional.
  Our musical goal is to explore our different styles, do things that are not normally done, just because.  You will never hear us play a cover of "Mustang Sally" or "Brick House", why sell your soul musically too? We focus primarily on original music although we will throw together some covers to play a party for friends.
  Our style is just really starting to come together but can best be described as sounding like southern fried Cheap Trick with a real heavy edge.
